Candidatul Ideal
In behalf of our client, Ansaldo Nucleare we are looking for Senior Electrical Desing Engineer to Support the engineering design activities mainly referring to MV & LV distribution systems for nuclear applications. Design/sizing of all the major electrical components/machines including the identification of the "fit for purpose" solutions, from conceptual/basic to detailed design including the details necessary to manage the supply of these components according to the national (CEI) and international (IEC/EN) electrical codes.
Education: MSc Degree in Electric Engineering or equivalent,
Professional experience: five+/ten years' experience in electrical systems engineering in nuclear companies or in highly regulated industrial sectors. Nuclear backgroud appreciated but not mandatory.
Basic competences:
o Design of new MV/LV site distribution systems (AC/DC - MV MCS, LV PCs/MCCs, sub-distribution boards), off site interfaces (substation), grounding and lightning protection, plant lighting systems, battery system for NPPs, and integration of electrical systems in existing ecosystems (including upgrade or refurbishment of existing plant, e.g., NPP PLEX programs),
o Design of MV/LV protection systems (legacy and digital systems),
o Design of MV/LV switchboards, cable list, power typical drawings and WD schematics,
o Knowledge of Electrical machines (generators, motors, trafos, UPS, genset SBDG/EDG/UDG),

Descrierea jobului
- Lead, with the Head of Unit, the Electrical Systems Engineering of AC/DC power systems for operational and emergency needs, ensuring the execution of design activities according to the electrical engineering principles as well as to the best electrical engineering practices,
- Develop technical specs, load lists, SLDs 3LDs, electrical sizing calculation, purchase technical specification, technical evaluation of the Supplier's offers, technical followup of the supplies,
- Follow up the manufacturing/assembling, the FAT, the on-site installation, and testing activities of the electrical switchboards/components,
Support the on-site installation activities for electrical works,
- Coordinate/Supervise both mono-disciplinary working groups, by coaching and mentoring the group itself and the individuals in technical and personal skills enabling them to deliver, and subs,
Identify and manage the internal & external interfaces (stakeholders within the project delivery framework),
- Support Project Managers, Project Engineers as well as the working group in defending electrical design positions/solutions towards Client's discussions and comments to engineering docs.
