Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Economics or Engineering;
• Experience in the procurement/purchasing area, at least 3 years;
• Cost and quality purchasing activity;
• Product and market knowledge, Lean Basics, Cost savings and Supplier relationship;
• Proficiency in English, German is a plus;
• SAP operation and knowledge of primary accounting;
• Technical knowledge and market knowledge (suppliers, prices);
• Management of the relationship with suppliers;
• Data analysis and techniques of negotiation;
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and projects in a demanding environment;
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills when making decisions or solving problems;
• Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Makes market analysis and offers comparison;
• Negotiates with suppliers;
• Collaborates with the HQ in Germany;
• Sets up a number of potentials supplier/commodity;
• Maintains and develops important customer-supplier relationship;
• Processes complaints from escalation level;
• Is responsible to achieve the savings targets and responsible for the continuous improvement programs in the context of purchasing goals;
• Supports and participates in projects;
• Finds, evaluates and suggests reliable commodity suppliers;
• Handles and manages presentations for meetings.
