The PMCP is a combined role for tasks in the commercial and procurement areas. The role supports the Project Manager Implementation (PMI) in commercial project management and is responsible for procurement decisions. He works closely with Project Manager Technical Sales (PMTS) and PMI and ensures the "best buy" in the project. He ensures that orders are placed and suppliers commissioned in an audit-proof manner.
Your main responsibilities:
- Responsibility for project purchasing with the awarding and commissioning of suppliers;
- Conducting price and contract award negotiations with suppliers;
- Supporting the project manager in commercial project management and claim management;
- Coordination of all project-relevant contracts and interface to contract management and sales;
- Carrying out commercial project monitoring;
- Interdisciplinary interface in the international project business.
Therefore, a successful candidate would have:
- Bachelor or master degree in business administration, industrial engineering or related field;
- Foreign language skills: Fluent in English. Fluency in German is a big plus;
- Strong economic understanding in combination with technical interest;
- Experience in purchasing and/or commercial project management desirable;
- Knowledge of SAP;
- Good MS Office skills;
- Openness to working in an international and interdisciplinary team;
- Good communication skills.
