Responsibilities:
✔️ Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing.
✔️ Prepare financial statements in compliance with Romanian accounting standards and IFRS.
✔️ Handle VAT declarations, corporate tax, and other statutory filings.
✔️ Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
✔️ Consolidate financial data from multiple projects and ensure proper reporting.
✔️ Perform reconciliations between the company’s internal accounting system and the local Romanian accounting system.
Requirements:
🔹 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
🔹 5 years of experience in a similar role in construction.
🔹 Strong knowledge of Romanian accounting and IFRS.
🔹 Experience with tax filings and statutory reporting.
🔹 Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
🔹 Fluency in English is required.
🔹 ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
