Remote Software Developer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience (2+ years) in software development using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, RESTful APIs, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with any of: Google Cloud Run, Compute Engine, or Kubernetes Engine, or their equivalent in AWS and Azure.
• Experience working in fast-moving development teams or startups with a focus on CI/CD practices and quick release cycles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication.

• Experience integrating or developing solutions for Zoho applications.
• Experience programming in Zoho Deluge.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and modern UI/UX design principles.
• Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and interest in exploring generative AI technologies.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Design & Development: Architect, code, test, and deploy software applications that meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
• Google Cloud: Develop and integrate software using Google Cloud and APIs, with an emphasis on seamless interoperability with Zoho applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and fellow developers in an agile environment to deliver innovative solutions.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to meet requirements and increase scalability.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions and automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) for rapid and reliable software releases.
• Plan & Execute: Plan projects together with project managers and colleagues, keep Jira boards up to date, report on status in daily standups, and meet deadlines.
